Deep study synthesis — Loopcard

Date: 18 September 2026
Method: ten agents in parallel (finance, marketing strategy, channels, adoption, competition, demand/WTP, business thesis, risk/legal, creative, viability chair). Each wrote a long chapter under docs/deep/. This file is the chair’s combined read, not a replacement for those chapters.

Public pack: https://cryptobook.space/study/

One page

Loopcard is a good poster and a bad company.

Question Answer
Do people care about runaway coding-agent bills in 2026? Yes. $6k overnight (r/ClaudeAI, May 2026), Uber burning a year of AI budget in four months then capping tools, HN 337 points when Cursor hid cost.
Do they pay for a prettier screenshot of that bill? No evidence. They pay Cursor/Claude to do the work, SuperPenguin/Lineman to attribute spend, and they screenshot ccusage (MIT, ~18.6k stars, --compact “for screenshots”) for free.
Is $19/mo Pro underwritten? No. Base model ~30 paying / ~$660 MRR at month 12 if billing even exists. $5k MRR needs a traffic miracle and a conversion rate the free PNG refutes.
Is cryptobook.space a channel? No. ~65 unique IPs/week of leftover social. 30–50% conversion tax on a crypto domain.
Legal/ops to keep a free poster live? Mostly green if we never scrape vendors, never take keys, label demos, stamp “Not an invoice” on the PNG.
What should Virtus do? Treat Loopcard as an optional ≤30-day free stunt with kill bars — or kill it as a company and put engineering on academy.tokensmarketcap.com (currently 404), which already has an audience. Do not open Stripe this month.

The viability chair’s single word was KILL (as a company). Finance: NOT VIABLE as standalone SaaS, MARGINALLY VIABLE as a Virtus marketing asset if kept free. Business thesis: BC-30 (brand stunt + agency lead-gen for 30 days, then TMC). Those three are consistent if you do not confuse a tweet with a P&L.

What the ten agents found

1. Finance (01-financial-viability.md)

2. Marketing strategy (02-marketing-strategy.md)

3. Channels (03-channels-gtm.md)

4. Adoption (04-adoption.md)

5. Competition (05-competition.md)

6. Demand / WTP (06-demand-wtp.md)

7. Business thesis (07-business-thesis.md)

9. Creative (09-creative-content.md)

10. Viability chair (10-viability-verdict.md)

Combined decision (operator)

  1. Do not staff Loopcard as a SaaS. Do not Stripe. Do not $19 because a calendar exists.
  2. If you still want a social boom: run the 30-day calendar as a free stunt, buy loopcard.ai, stamp the PNG, CTA = Virtus. Kill on the bars in chapter 07.
  3. If you want a business: the demand already on this VPS is TokensMarketCap, not 65 leftover social IPs. Academy is 404.
  4. Read the ten chapters before arguing with this page. They disagree on tone (KILL vs 30-day stunt) and agree on the P&L.
