How it works

Three steps to your first alert.

  1. Pick a coin and a condition

A price level, a percent move, an unusual move for that coin, or a volume spike. Write it in plain words or build it step by step.

  2. See the noise before you save

A chart of the last 30 days marks every time the alert would have fired. Change it until it fires as often as you want.

  3. Get the alert, then the receipt

Alerts reach you by web push, email or Discord. Each one then records what the price did 1 hour, 4 hours, 24 hours and 7 days later.

Today

What works today, and what opens later.

Works today

  • Alerts by web push and email, with a chart of when they would have fired, quiet hours, a cooldown and a daily limit.
  • A receipt on every alert: what the price did 1 hour, 4 hours, 24 hours and 7 days later.
  • Two-line notes on why the price moved, with every number checked by code.
  • Alerts posted to your Discord channel.
  • Alerts on world events, such as central bank decisions and inflation and jobs reports.
  • An API for rules, alerts, receipts and the would-have-fired preview, with a key on every plan.
  • Tools for Claude and ChatGPT that read your alerts and receipts and preview a rule.

Built, opening later

  • Signed webhooks that send each alert to your own server.Built. Not open to everyone yet.
  • Telegram alerts with Why, Snooze and Mute buttons.Built. Opens once our Telegram bot is set up.
  • Paid plans with more alerts, faster checks and a longer history. Not open yet. Paid plans open once payments are set up and a lawyer has reviewed our seller terms. Free works today.
  • A feeds market where people list the alert rules they run and software pays per event.Built. Opens to a few accounts at a time, after a lawyer's written answers.
  • Receipts also recorded on the Base blockchain, next to an independent price from Pyth.Built. Opens once our blockchain setup is done.

Why Terminal

Four things built into every alert.

Every alert keeps its own record, and you decide how often Terminal speaks.

A receipt for every alert

Terminal stores the price when an alert fires, then again 1 hour, 4 hours, 24 hours and 7 days later. Flat and down moves stay in. The public Scoreboard adds them up by alert type.

Price afterward on an alert in Terminal: the price when it fired and 1 hour later; the 4-hour, 24-hour and 7-day prices are not in yet Price afterward on an alert in Terminal: the price when it fired and 1 hour later; the 4-hour, 24-hour and 7-day prices are not in yet

Why it moved, in two lines

Each alert comes with a short note written from facts Terminal stored: the price path, volume against its usual level, and the wider market. A model writes the words. Code checks every number in them.

Terminal's alert page on recorded Coinbase prices from October 11, 2026. In the app a model writes this note from the facts; this one was written for the recording and passed the same checks.

See how often it would have fired

While you set up an alert, a chart of the last 30 days marks every time it would have fired. You see the noise before it reaches your phone.

Quiet by default

Each rule has a cooldown, and you set quiet hours and a daily limit. An unusual-move alert follows each coin's own swings instead of a fixed percent.

For developers and AI agents

Your software reads the same alerts.

The rules, alerts and receipts in the app are also an API, and Claude and ChatGPT can use them as tools.

  • APILive Rules, alerts, receipts and the would-have-fired preview over HTTPS, with a key on every plan. Free includes 1,000 calls a month.
  • MCPLive Claude and ChatGPT read your alerts and receipts, and preview a rule, as tools.
  • Feeds per eventOpening in stages Next: people list the alert rules they already run as a feed, and software subscribes per event, free or 5¢ to $1, under a cap it sets. Terminal keeps 20%. It opens to a few accounts at a time, after a lawyer's written answers.

Questions

Short answers.

What is Terminal?

Crypto price alerts that keep a record. You pick coins and conditions; Terminal tells you when one is met and then records what the price did 1 hour, 4 hours, 24 hours and 7 days later, so you can see how your alerts played out.

Is it free?

Yes. 3 alerts on 10 coins, checked about every 5 minutes. No card. Trader is $15 a month, Pro is $29 a month, and Community is $49 a month. Paid plans are not open yet.

What is a receipt?

A receipt is the price 1 hour, 4 hours, 24 hours and 7 days after an alert, as a move from the price when it fired. Until that time, the slot says not in yet. Every alert has one, the flat and down moves included. The methodology page gives the exact rules.

Where do the prices come from?

Spot prices come from Coinbase public market data. If Coinbase does not have a price, we use Kraken public market data. Open a number to see the source and the time. If we do not have a price, the screen says unavailable. Where prices come from gives the exact rules.

Is this investment advice?

No. This is not investment advice. Terminal describes what the price did and when. It is not a broker, an exchange, or an advisor. A note is not a recommendation.

Can my software or AI agent use it?

Yes. Every plan includes an API key for rules, alerts, receipts and previews. Claude and ChatGPT connect over MCP. The docs are on the developers page.

What is the feeds market?

A market Terminal is building: people will list the alert rules they already run as feeds, and software will subscribe per event from credits, under a cap it sets. It is not open to everyone yet. Terminal opens it to a few accounts at a time, after a licensed lawyer's written answers.

How do I cancel?

In Billing, any time. You keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for. We do not refund unused days on a monthly or yearly plan, except where the law says we must.

Who runs Terminal?

Virtus Blockchain Labs, a company registered in the State of New York, USA. It also runs TokensMarketCap.

Set your first alert in a minute. See what happened next, every time.
