Accessibility

Version: 2026-10-23 draft

Updated 23 October 2026.

Effective: [Effective date: set when published]

We want everyone to be able to use Terminal, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, zoom, or other assistive technology.

Summary. Our target is WCAG 2.2 level AA on every screen. We are not there everywhere yet. If something gets in your way, write to contact@tokensmarketcap.com and we will help.

Our target

We build Terminal to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That target covers the app, the public site, the help center, and these policy pages, in light and dark themes, on phones and on desktops.

What we do

  • Every page has one main heading, headings in order, and landmarks for the header, the main content, and the footer. A "Skip to content" link comes first.
  • Everything works with a keyboard alone, and the focus outline is always visible.
  • Every form field has a visible label. Buttons that show only an icon still have a name a screen reader reads.
  • Text meets a contrast of 4.5 to 1, and large text and controls meet 3 to 1, in both themes. Automated tests check the color pairs.
  • Color is never the only way we show something. A rise or a fall also has a sign or a word.
  • Charts have a text description, and the points they mark are also listed as text.
  • Swipe actions always have a button that does the same thing.
  • We respect your device's setting to reduce motion.

What is not finished

  • No outside expert has audited Terminal yet. Our checks are our own automated tests and our own reviews.
  • Some older screens from the first version of the site were built before this target and may not meet it.
  • Some charts and tables may be hard to use with a screen reader on a small phone screen.
  • Email messages are plain and simple, but we have not tested every one with every mail app.

[Owner: update this list after the first outside audit.]

Tell us about a problem

If a page or a feature is hard to use, write to contact@tokensmarketcap.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line. Tell us the page, what you tried, and the browser and assistive technology you use. We will answer within 5 business days and, where we can, give you another way to get what you need while we fix it.

You can also ask for any policy page in another format, such as plain text.
